Hi, I am needing about 30 GAL22v10's for a small project I'm working on. I've looked on most UK suppliers sites (RS, Farnell, etc.) but they want to charge the earth (round ?3 to ?5) each for them. So I was wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper uk source. I'm looking to pay around ?1 each for them at the most. But all suggestions are welcomed. Yours, LaesQ

I've downloaded documetnation on lower part of newcomers - MachXO3. New Diamnond 3.1 has support for chips, but I can't find chips anyhwere. I tried Farnell and Mouser and couple of other adresses, but so far can't find anything. Had anyone managed to spot any MachXO3L model being actually offered ?

Hi, I have a couple of that neat boards with XO2-7000 and not much else. I managed to burn the FPGA on one of them and since Farnell didn't have the exact 7000HE model that was on the board, I used 7000HC and bridged VCC so that chips gets 3.3V for core power that it wants. But now I can't program it through FTDI. I've noticed several variations of the board. Some had XO2-1200 while mine ...

Hi, We got an old design with an Altera Cyclone FPGA (EP1C12F324). These are probably obsolete (Can't find any info on them on the Intel site, Farnell is out of stock, etc.). Currently active are the Cyclone-IV and Cyclone-V if I understood correctly. Is a design from a Cyclone portable to a Cyclone-IV/V? What kind of changes should I expect to code and board? Design includes NIOS. Or...

I got Xilinx free IDE running and even got some simple designs through. But there wasn't any Xilinx programmer/evaluation kit available from Farnell or Elfa. What is the problem. From where I could buy working pair. Xilinx sw seems to work, but any other good free program and low cost demo kit is ok. Regards LM

Hello, I need to replace 12ns SRAMs with equivalent 8ns chips, (256K * 16 bits, 44-pin in TSOP-2 / .8mm pitch) but I can't find them without an excessive price tag. Cypress and Alliance don't go faster than 10ns and I've only found suitable references from ISSI : IS61LV51216-8T and GSI : GS74116TP-8 All I need is aprox. 8 units (6 to 12 is OK) but Farnell has only 3 pc and the others...

Dear All, The TPS75003 is a triple voltage regulator designed for the Spartan-3 & Spartan-3E series. It's got some quite specific component requirements. Unfortunately, the datasheets and appnotes list parts that aren't that easy to source in the UK. I've put together a list of parts available from Farnell (UK) that seem to work well. The list and a PCB design are available here: ...

I have S3E starter kit. I accidentally connect a wrong power adaptor and two power regulators on the board was burnt. I cannot replace them because pads of the one of the regulators are under the package. So I decided to make or purchase a power supply card and connect it to starter kit. I have checked farnell.com and Linear Technology website but cannot find anything useful. Are there any po...
