Hi Everybody, I wonder some thing about microblaze and picoblaze. *I must buy some tools for use microblaze or picoblaze? I think I must buy Xilinx EDK for microblaze. *EDK includes C/C++ compiler? or any? *There are advantages at Debugging? *If I use microblaze, FPGA'll be only processor? or I can write built in USB, ethernet etc.? *If I use Microblaze I must use only Virtex or Spartan 3?...

I'm investigating if the microblaze is an option for a project where physical space is extremely limited. Perhaps somebody can answer the following: 1.Is it possible to use the microblaze in a spartan3E 500? If yes, how much will it eat from this device? 2.if yes, is it possible to use the microblaze without any other memory chips (except one serial bootrom) and still running a standalone pr...

Hi, Matlab SysGen provide a microblaze module that we can have the design of microblaze processor together with other FPGA logic solely defined in the SysGen design environment. But when I try to place more than one microblaze module, says two microblaze communication through some FPGA logics, SysGen fails to compile such a case. Are there any solutions to achieve multi-microblaze in ...

Hi guys, I'm trying to connect a simple co-processor to microblaze. The co-processor simply gets 8 inputs and does a simple arithmetic and gives one output. The problem that I'm currently experiencing is (I figured it out during simulation) that, when I put a data from microblaze on FSL the fsl_m_write signal from microblaze doesn't become 1. So the co-processor never notices that there are ...
