What the switch of FFT implementation in FPGA for

Started by fl June 10, 2009
Hi,
I look at the FFT core description of Xilinx and I do not understand
the function of switch in the diagram. There are two switches in the
FFT LogiCore diagram, at the both sides of Buttfly. One switch
connects the output of RAM block, which the other switch connects to
the RAM input. I think the data input and output of RAM can directly
connect to the butterfly, because the different RAM contents are
controlled by addresses. What use for the switches? Can you help me
about that? Thank you very much.

Hi, Please list the Xilinx website address for what your FFT core description and I may help you. Weng
